What is Chiropractic Care?
Chiropractic care consists of manipulating the joints throughout the spine and limbs in order to restore normal movement within the joint’s normal range of motion. This has a positive domino effect on internal inflammation and the nervous system.
What We Offer
While Dr. Lia is a veterinarian, we provide chiropractic care ONLY. We do not provide any other veterinary services at this time.
Initial exams: During your first visit, Dr. Lia will perform a full physical exam, musculoskeletal/lameness exam, and an adjustment. This initial exam is necessary for us to develop a veterinary-client-patient relationship (VCPR).
Chiropractic adjustments: Every appointment thereafter will consist of adjustments only unless a medical concern arises.
Physical/lameness exams only: We are always happy to offer physical and/or lameness exams without adjustments if desired.
If any medical ailment or concern is found during exam, we will notify your primary care veterinarian in order to ensure your horse is properly treated if necessary. It is very important to us that your horse’s entire team is in the know!
