Meet the Founder

Dr. Lia McCoy

My name is Dr. Lia McCoy, the founder of Far Fetched Equine. By day, I’m an equine veterinarian proudly serving the equine communities of both Missouri and Nevada.

Far Fetched Equine is a sister company to Far Fetched Adventures, which was founded by Dr. Stacey Thomas. Our goal is to ensure that adventure-loving animals (dogs, horses, maybe even some cats!) are safe on the trail with their human, and to also provide an educational online lecture series for owners to learn proper assessment and treatment of their animal with the tools provided in the first aid kit.
